N.C. Oregon | Aluminum trailers last longer if one does not pull them around empty on gravel alot.
I have an 11yo 8x20 Charmac out of Twin Falls ID. Sides are riveted, floor is welded. Have had some rivets replaced where horses kicked the side of the trailer. Welded floor has one ripple in it near the front. No mats as the floor is non slip.
I would recommend rub rails on the inside. Keep the maunure washed out of it as well
This replaced a 16x7 steel Featherlite. It weighed 3700#. Charmac is 2800#.
