Subject: RE: Basement drainage solution

Revere Missouri very northeast corner.

I done the tile to the back side of my house this spring. We ran  6 inch black tile placed on top of the footer, put about 3 foot of river rock around it, and then covered the rock in that black fabric stuff. We had enough slope to run the tile over the hill and had no need for a sump pump. With all the rain we have had the basement hasnt leaked yet on the side we done. But will agree with others that gutters, and having the slope for proper drainage helps also. We are going to do the other side of our basement next year since what we done this year seemed to work.
