Not knowing where your "here" is, I believe you are correct on the Hot and Humid nights playing the most. From my understanding, out in California, where it is consistently "hot" each day, the humidity is very low so at night, it is always cooler than here, they have high consistent yields although most is harvested for silage, so who knows for sure. I have seem more tip back with NO lack of moisture "here" this year than normal. I honestly believe we will be down slightly from last year but not terribly bad. at least I hope. Beans look to do very well with the last few rains we have gotten, and looks like more tonight in a few minutes. Only concern with them is will the diseases stay away, white mold last year crushed us wherever the beans looked the best.
The "average ground" yielded the best then. Right NOW the whole field is looking great, give us three weeks and we will know for sure.
