Subject: Heat and Corn yield?

United States
Maybe this should have been posted in crops but... how much yield will these high temps cut the top end yield off the corn? Last year, we had cool cloudy days, lower temps at night (like in the 50's)...having the best crops we have had in years! Now this year, we're experiencing the third week with mid 90's daytime and 70+ at night, not letting the corn exhaust itself at night. I believe we could see some top end yield lost because of this heat at night even tho' we have been receiving 1/2" rains regularly here. Would this put a $ 4.00 floor under corn ?
