se wi | Peaking the tarp on a stack is critical because it will only shed water not hold it. We made a stack years ago and didn't lose anything. We used pallets and a preformer tarp from Inland. We put 8 foot 3x3's two wide 4 high and one bale on the fifth layer down the middle. We ran an 8 inch drain tile down the center on the top. Our stack had 144 bales. Be sure to bait for mice, they were the only problem. Tip the pallets on the ends of the stack up with a 4x4 to keep the bales leaning inward. Check the tightness of the ropes weekly for the first month. good luck | |
