80 to 90 degrees is its optimum. When we get over 95 or 100 like the last couple days and only down to 80 at night it just shuts it down. We have corn that the ground is black on top and blacklayered with the milkline still up the kernel. This will be lighter corn with triangle shaped kernels. We will have above average corn just not as good as the last two years.
