near Lucan | bedding during heat keeps the ammonia from building up, but we're in confinement systems here, its a different mind set. Roof to deal with rain & wet snow, sealed up barns in the past to control drafts, never used to be able to get enough ventilation for the hot weather in the summer. Open yard for night time, roof for daytime. We're 85 degrees, and humid this morning, those barns can get pretty stuffy by mid afternoon. | |
