Pittsburg, Kansas

We kind of swore off of Moark for exactly the reason you gave. This spring and summer nearly everything has been going to Springdale Arkansas. Drivers like it lots better there. They say turn around time is about same as it is more miles but unloading is quick. They will also take a little higher moisture without rejecting a load and don't seem to be as particular. At Carthage is they see a single cockelbur they are likely to reject the load.

I think Lynn has been selling a lot of new crop through DeBruce going to Catoosa, Oklahoma to the port and Springdale. We are going to avoid Moark if possible. A little there would be ok but we got put off on most everything one to two months on delivery with no offer for any extra for storing their corn. I don't like that too good. They always have good bids but now we discount that price for likely having to hold the grain longer than the contract states. That makes it not as appealing. That and the fact that a 6" auger would probably be an improvement in unloading time.
