Manitoba | I would say use the tester at times your years of experience tell you it's the ideal moisture and remember that % number.That way you'll have a good comparison cuz sometimes hay can be dryer than you think.I've held off baling sometimes when I thought it wasn't fit and I coulda been going sooner if I'd tested and still had good hay.At best a moisture tester is just another tool to use in conjuction with the hay making knowledge you already had. | |
