I would keep it simple and put out a Crystalyx Mineralyx barrel for each 30 head or so and supplement with big round bales of hay in a feeder only. I had a scheduling problem in my rotation and have fed a couple big round bales to cover them plus a couple mineralyx barrels out for them for after they have pretty much cleaned up their current pasture. The Mineralyx really helps in many ways. No waste. jmho.
