Your turning your head over? Are the cattle on your land? Are you selling the cows, leasing them, giving to a relative? These are things that could influence your decision. Do you want them to thrive or survive? I'd probably put some cheap hay out and give some ddg or gluten pellets on the ground, shelled corn would work too. Just hay would probably work but more than likely they will have to get real short on grass before they eat much of it. Spend a little more coin and have nicer looking cattle, just don't get the cows FAT. I just hate that in a cow.
