weight range of the majority.

Keep in mind plenty of folks here calf year around, only so many pastures to make yearlings etc..
MORE importantly, it takes just a few continual sales year around to live on, in what IS basically a total livestock based society here.

There are several family suppliers of Breds and Pairs here in the Mountains...THAT is what they do.

Keep hiefers, calf em a time or 3, and when they have a house or land payment, simply load up say 20 to 40 REAL nice breds or pairs to keep on keepin on.
