878 himself is a "Cornerstone" bull in the Angus bus. Again, MO.

As far as making females, history will rank 878 in there, or more likely ABOVE the old Traveler 23-4 bull, the original Rainmaker bull ( without the prefix ) etc. MO.

All linebreeding does is solidify ( concentrate with minimal variance ) the genetics of an animal.

Thus when You use the afore You get an extra shot of heterosis affect. ( even when breeding non related within breed groups ).
