southern MN | The one you say not to take, would that be 34 on the map?
When my sis took me out to see the world many decades ago, we went from southern MN to the Pasific, and then back through Kansas. Took 2 plus weeks going out, turist people, and came back in just a few days.
Anyhow, we left the Black Hills, headed over the range there on a road that kept getting narrower, got to the top and the sign said road narrows _again!_, and we wondered how it could? Well - no room for a railing is what we found out....
Went down hill for miles, with a big - really big - drop off to the north. Met campers & such coming our way. It was pretty exciting.
I happened to be driving my sis' car, she was pretty quiet on that part. I was too young to be paying attention, not sure what road we were really on there, what path we chose. Always kinda wonder now what road we were on?
As we got to Idaho, Mt St Helens blew up for the 2nd time, was pretty exciting.
But I digress, sorry for the thread drift.
