(well as old as me anyways and I know I feel old some days)
As someone previous has mentioned, get some new work cushions to put in your boots. I have both Double H's and Twisted X, love both pairs, I've worn through several sets of cushion insoles in the double H's. Everytime I put a new set in they feel like a brand new pair of boots.
I know for me I also helps to rotate what I'm wearing too, some days double H lace ups, somedays ariat pull ons, somedays double H pullon's, and my twisted X are for dressier type stuff (business casual). If I get tired/feet hurt, I'll wear something different that next day, seems to help.
I know the square toed style has never been for me, both from a comfort standpoint as well as style.
