An electrician here. The best investment you can make if you have a PTO gen is a multi meter that measures hertz and use that to set the speed of the gen. Voltage should balance itself out if the hertz/frequency is correct which is 60 hertz. This is especially important if you have any type of fan controllers or computers running off the generator.
