Hang on to those memories,, and maybe make a few of your own ??  (hang on to any of her receipies??)

 

You are very lucky to have those memories,, mine could not cook to save her rearend. Most everything was either raw, burnt to a crisp, or so bland and tasteless dad and I were better off eating the magazines with the pictures on them.  If you think I'm kidding I'm not meals were a real challenge sometimes. One fall I vividly remember growing up was 3 months of sandwitches consisting of bread-1 slice of bolona-mustard-period that was it. She had decided stuff like lettuce, mayonaise, etc.. was all too expensive so "lunch" was 2 tasty "mustard sandwitches".

It took me years After growing up and leaving home before I could even stomach the smell of Mustard.
