NC Iowa | maybe it's because i am hungry now, and the food posts below. i am really missing my mom's cooking right now. wow, she sure had a way with roast beef, mashed potatoes, & gravy, with biscuts. apple pie for desert. my wife does real good, but will never be to that point. i have long ago learned not to say anything.
mother passed 3 years ago today at age 91. still cookin too. we still have her canned tomatoes, fruit, and jam in the pantry, and apples in the freezer that we are eating on. it will be a sad day for me when we use that last jar. | |
