Highland Center, in Southeast Iowa | That was my thought..........how long can the water lines and waste lines handle this cold? Is there generally much snow cover to act as an insulation to keep the frost from going so deep? That could be a real mess if a bunch of water line freeze and break underground. We're supposed to be near 30 by Monday.....will sure feel good, even though it will be a slppy mess with the snow melting somewhat. Hope all stay safe till this passes. |
