- Assign static IP addresses to the printer (it should already have one) AND network cards
- Use DHCP for wireless only
- store ALL static IP addresses in the DHCP server (probably your wireless router)
This way, you will not have address conflicts, and be able to link your PC's with cable without having to disable your wireless and benefit from both worlds:
- static IP addresses with cable for high speed data transfers
- mobility and still a fair rate on wireless.
