Check that the chain going down to the main shaft is the correct length, and not shot. This would be the one going down to your half width shutoffs if you have them. Removing a couple links to shorten it and that'll speed up your meters correctly.
You mean on each side of the transmission that go to the main shaft right? Not the big one the drives the wheel?
