| I guess I have wondered how much less compaction you actually get with tracks. Here one pass doesn’t do much 2 passes you may start to notice if your psi is on the high end but 3rd and fourth passes is where it’s noticeable. With a track machine you have 2 idlers on each track plus bogies. each of those puts a little extra pressure down hence running over multiple times at a lower psi. But that’s just a theory I don’t have two properly ballasted machines to compare tires vs tracks. | |
