NE ND | If the muffler is on the left side, it has an Iveco (435/485), if it’s on the right it’s a Cummins QSX. 535s were the last big Cummins made. We have a 530 and it’s identical, just a few years older. Bogie wheel seals have been our biggest common fix (maybe 1 per year, if that), but we bought the tools to do it and it’s not tough at all. Leaky front cover like all Cummins eventually unless it’s been done. They are rough on the road, I’d eventually like to put cab suspension on ours, but the wheeled one rides significantly smoother on the road. $8-12k/track is about new cost. | |
