Bottom of the Mitten | No till coulters on a 7000 are the most hated piece of equipment on NAT. But i use them here with good results and i also have spiked closing wheels. In rock solid heavy ground it's difficult to get into the ground and get it closed up. I have no idea what the soil conditions are in SE Ohio. As another mentioned if you're starting off with 10 acres play around with it checking to see how it's going. On your hands and knees behind the planter will tell you what is working or isn't. The 7000 is a good machine capable of great stand
