WCMO-SWMO Area | Many years ago a neighbor sold milk that way..He had a small herd of dairy cows and worked a day job..When we quit milking we bought milk from him..He said there was usually more money in the jar than milk that was sold..Some gave him a little extra.
I have heard that there is a little town in the Oklahoma Panhandle that has a general store that uses the honor system..The owner gave all the locals a key and they write down what they buy and pay him when he's there.
