Our wheat on sb ground is about smoked. Definitely yield damaged even if we get some rain soon. Continuous wheat looks good yet, wheat in corn not terrible. Our oats have been laying in dry dirt for weeks. Not sure if we can find reliable germination for corn, have to select planting by field I'm sure. Very little soil recharge since last crop. Need several ponding rains to soak some in. I cleaned a ditch before last year corn planting that holds back water that comes from many miles away and then floods us. It has not run any water for a full year and the reason I could clean it last spring is because it hadn't run any water for 8 months. Been a long spell here with no large rain events.
