Go to the American Crystal Sugar Website and search for Agrilime. It is used in the sugar extraction process and then discarded so isn’t quite the exact same as other lime. They have all the analysis of the nutrients it contains. But yes, there is absolutely 10 tons per acre put on thousands of acres every year here in the valley. If it didn’t show a return I doubt people would he spending $150 an acre to have it done.

Regardless it doesn’t really matter what you think about it. The original post was asking about costs associated with lime application. Specifically trucking, I was pointing out that yes, trucking and application is the majority of the cost. And in this case is actually the entire cost.
