Would it be more effective to make your combine process the straw better?
Hi DAN. yes I think that would help. Other thought I forgot to include in OP is possibility to run this rig over cornstalks before a chisel plow. we also fight chisel plow pulling piles even though the 2 we use have a gang of straight blades. chopping up stalks with a coulter gang ahead of chisel would be faster and less maintenance than stalk shredder. |
