CENTRAL ILLINIOS | We use a Gandy Orbit Air applicator for granular insecticide. It uses a venturi to suck the insecticide into the airflow then 1" hose to deliver it to the row. They use a metering wheel (electric or hydraulic driven) to drop the insecticide into the piece they call a mixing chamber where it is sucked in by the venturi/airflow.

If you could find one(Gandy or Valmar) for sale on any piece of used equipment (they were popular for cover crop seeding as well) near you and go take a look at it you could see how they are made and copy the design pretty easy. In fact the dry fertilizer applicators that deliver to the row with air are a similar design so looking at one of them might help. I don't know anything about air seeders or air flow fertilizer applicators or if they use the venturi principal or a air lock type design.
