You might be able to use a simple venturi to inject the insecticide into the air stream going to the opener. You can make a venturi out of plastic and put it in the airline going to the opener. Then, meter the insecticide in the side opening in the venturi. The product should be sucked into the airstream by the venturi effect.
Any airlock/rotary valve experts out there?
