| We do something similar to what you’re describing. My kids and myself own some cattle with outside money and pay the feedlot to custom feed them. I kind of like setting things up that way. Really forces you to keep good accurate honest numbers and someday will make transitioning the business easier. Also it gives my kids a great business education.
I’m figuring $.57 and that usually ends up a little short but we don’t run as many head as some of folks on here. | |
