Southeast Colorado | I just spent all day driving up the far west side of Kansas...........basically from where highway 27 starts on the south, all the way up to the edge of Nebraska. There's some really sorry wheat fields out there. South is better..............and then all the way north recovered just a tad. I don't think I've ever seen the wheat around Goodland KS look so bad. Bare spots all over.........and some has been stripped already to keep from blowing. | |
