We are dry and the wheat is 2 weeks ahead of normal. The dry weather and cooler temps for the next 10 days will help slow it down. MAYBE we can avoid a freeze.
The dry weather is approaching critical but on the other hand, if it rains or snows, the wheat could grow faster and have a higher chance of freezing later. Going to be dicey.
