I was getting 4-5 calls a day about medicare(not even old enough yet) after hanging up, yelling and screaming at them to no avail, I finally gave in. gave them fake everything,name,zip code ,age . kept them on phone for 20 minutes. when he finally figured it out , he hung up and I have not recieved another call. been 3-4 months now
Not exactly a scam, but I was getting calls every week, to get me to sign up for fiber internet. I told them there was no fiber out here in the country, but they insisted on spending several minutes, "checking availability for my address," which of course always got the same result; "not available in your area." Of course they never took my word for it, they just insisted on wasting my time. I guess they finally got it after about the 8th time, because I don't get those calls anymore. |
