Caribbe inn in Atlantic Beach, just over bridge at Morehead City, not fancy, but don’t deal with any bs , clean and quit, ft Macon State Park was a civil war fort and plenty of restaurants all around, can take a local boat tour out of Beaufort on a few miles north, 2 piers nearby, if wanting more fancy and glamorous, go to Myrtle Beach
