coast of Maine | When my kids were young I wanted them to see Appalachia .So on the way back east from rollercoaster parks in Ohio we headed to WV and took a few back roads for a 150 odd miles up thru hollers and small villages.It was and still is a very eye opening experience.I actually found a small farm growing an apple tree type that I now grow as it was a very nice apple he sold.You never ever know what lurks off the main drag,very good trip. | |
