Leesburg, Ohio | Isacc and Pete are both right...high grain prices, low interest rates, cheap crop insurance, all contribute to buyers being more willing to pay higher prices for cash rent and for purchase of land.
At any given set of grain prices and interest rates, I would certainly be willing to risk paying a higher price for rent or purchase if I know that I have a good crop insurance coverage to rely on. Without that crop insurance coverage, i would not risk paying prices as high. | |
