Se Nebraska | I get 80% entprise unit crop insurance every year. I also don’t get hail insurance or green snap/ wind coverage. I don’t farm in really high yield environment or hail risk.I figured if I don’t raise the bushels that coverage will get me by. I also figure they have people smarter than me working the numbers so they make make money off the insurance so they can build buildings and pay agents. I would be tempted to not get crop insurance but it is a lot of money to put a crop in and they make you sign a contract that you will buy it for the government programs anymore. | |
