SW WI | Got skunked here too. I’ve been getting a lot of maintenance work done…waterways and brush cutting. I keep telling myself it’s great, what a productive winter. All the while the voice in my head says…..have you ever seen it this dry for this long? No….
I think of my late mother in law. Some one whose faith was the deepest I have ever seen and would put up against anyone. Her go to phrase was “As long as we get timely rains…we’ll be ok”
Going to need REAL timely rains if this continues.
And the funny, not funny thing about our dramatically wet years 16-21…..I said at that time….this thing is going to even out and I’m not sure I like what that’ll probably look like.
