ottertail co mn | Just drove around all my fields in the side by side. No 4wd needed and drove right through the low spots. No mud on the tires. We have excellent subsoil moisture with the 3 inch rain we had in December that soaked in. If was planting oats I would seriously think about starting in a couple weeks. Starting out just like 2012 here as far as temps, but way wetter sub soils.
I picked Jan and February for rainfall insurance. Looks to be a good call | |
