Secondary market for big equipment has always been tough. Market catches up but really hard to find second guy on one or two year old super large stuff. So even a X9 in higher yielding row crop country you can use a 45’ platform and a 12 row cornhead so a guy trading into a used X-9 could probably use his current heads if not too old. The guy buying the used 800 hp tractor in a year right now would have very little equipment to pull behind it unless he bought new which still be pretty limited. So sometimes not the initial cost of one unit, but overall cost to make that new to second owner used unit feasible.

Again remember it is a big world out there. Lot of varying conditions. Takes double the size of tractor to pull the same equipment pulled in the hills than is needed in the flat conditions. Many chipped 580 quads pulling 38 foot air drills because they can't pull bigger. Lots of 50 and 60 foot air drills available if they had a bigger tractor. I know many would go for it and not hard to find the equipment and it would actually be cheaper than the current smaller drills they are pulling now.
