Here's a scenario for you...

It is known that the Chinese are buying land, mostly farm land, in areas surrounding sensitive U.S. military installations. I have seen this issue raised on here, how we should not be allowing this.

How is that any different than this tic toc thing?

We should not stop them, because the government will then use that power to determine who among U.S. citizens can buy land and where, according to you jokers, right?

There is NO difference, and quite frankly, I feel that defending the opposition's ability to spy on this country is borderline treason.

I do feel land or any hard asset is different, but for the sake of this discussion, we will assume it is not.

The Chinese own about 5000 companies in the US plus a lot of farmland.

It needs to be all or none (I have no problem with them owning none, but I think enforcement would be a nightmare).

As far as them going after Tic Toc........it's a ruse by the government.

Most people could care less about Tic Toc...how many times can you watch a kid see how many Alka Saltzers they can swallow, that is why it's easy picking.

This is an attempt to control what we can read and hear.

If they get Tic Toc..... NAT may very well be next.
