Ft. Ripley MN | If you can swing it 2- 2inch lifts otherwise stick with 2- 1.5 inch lifts. The base has to be solid… take the time and get some good gravel in. Yes you can ask for highway spec tar vs standard driveway mixes.
Driveways here are 1- 2 inch lift but a parking lot is gonna see a lot more use then a driveway plus whatever size equipment you make be plowing the parking lots with. Parking lots here are always 2 lifts… they will hold up a lot better in the long run.
Lastly drainage… make sure the water can drain off and not pool. Water is not kind to asphalt especially after it starts to break up | |
