Ludington/Manistee MI area | Did shift work for most of 25 years. In my 20’s it was easy, 30’s was tolerable by my 40’s it sucked. Most of the time it was 3 12 hour days, 3 days off, 3 12 hour nights then 3 days off then repeat. Last few years was a stupid schedule the millennials pushed. 4 12 hour days, 7 off, 4 12 hour nights, 3 days off, 3 12 hour day, 1 day off, 3 12 hour nights, 3 days off and repeat. Working 6 of 7 days for straight time wasn’t cool in my mind. |
