I was in camp think they are crazy also. But been buying 6 weight hfrs. Going to background to 900, turn money a little faster. Looks to be $100 bill profit in them at barn. And if my contract goes thru well over $200 on present bought feeders and $400+ on what bought last fall of 4 weights outa Montana that will blend in with them. So pushing forward and buying in money puts to cover risk so basically locking in a profit . Not getting caught like 15 again
Edit. Cattle are only thing making any money presently until corn gets back over $4.60 area. It's under COP in my operation with rent and inputs. So have to do something to survive. I'm using $4.60 corn yet in rations. And keeping around $1 cog without interest. I'm sure I'll get told that's way too high. But it still works
