Really appreciate the response and it sounds like we have a very similar cattle operation (always thought Sudan would be the next forage option to add as well), My one concern I was curious about was does the triticale take longer to mature i.e. meaning you are having to put it up much later than the Rye? just not wanting to delay planting the soybeans anymore than I have to.
