I had what is called an SVT which is a speeding up of the heart. It would start beating in double time. The heart had found another path for the electrical current to go through the heart. With the ablation they went in to cauterize the area it wasn’t suppose to go through. 

I have not had an episode since so it worked. I believe I was 70 at the time. It was painless and had no effect other then fixing my heart.
