Subject: RE: In-ground Storm / tornado shelters

North West Missouri
We dug out our old cellar last summer that would get water in it when we we're getting rain (not last summer).put 1" clean gravel in the bottom. Painted the outside of new shelter with black tar like waterproofing before setting in ground. Set in ground and put 4" tile around it with drain going to opening in pasture. Covered tile around shelter with clean 1" gravel. Don't remember a brand name. Went to local burial vault company that handled them and they installed in ground for us. I believe it was not quite $4,000. When I ask how many it would hold he said "Depends how scared they are". lol
