Hennepin, IL | Not a lot of help but I do know for a fact that second popup is what you get when you try to load 1200 firmware into an 800. Just did that this morning. I would try backdating the display firmware to either 9.0 or 8.5. You shouldnt have to update the SCM firmware separately a d im wondering if since you did, it caused some issue or a file was corrupted somewhere along the line. If you can backdate the display a version or 2 successfully, check that the SCM backdated as well. Then try updating the display again, maybe even with freshly downloaded firmware.
To answer your question on the firmware for the SCM, it shouldn't matter whether you have the full featured SCM or the CAN only SCM. The CAN only is still being sold new, so it's not like it was a short run.
Another thought, which display firmware were you on before? I'd assume you were current or close, but for future reference if an Incommand is older than version 7, it has to be brought up to 7.0 then to current.
