NW Wisconsin | my .02 if your low probably should be putting on crop removal though 2x2 and dry spreading above and beyond what your yield goal is... Then at least you have the opportunity to VRT where you actually need it. If your testing low on P the worst thing you can do is just do crop removal. From what ive seen on my own ground even 150% of crop removal plus 12 units of phos with the seed still isnt enough to overcome low P in a corn situation.... But there is a very fine line between low and adequate. For me its around 12-15 ppm P1. Then beyond about 25 ppm P1 my yield limiting factor is K | |
